3 Bean Marinade       From Syd's Kitchen
1(15 oz.) can green beans
1(15 oz.) can wax beans
1(15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
several baby carrots thinly sliced
several stalks celery chopped
sweet onion, diced or thinly sliced

3/4 cup white sugar
2/3 cup distilled white vinegar
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp celery seed

DIRECTIONS
In sauce pan, heat sugar, vinegar, vegetable oil, salt, pepper, and celery seed to boiling (to dissolve sugar). Pour over ingredients and mix together. Let set in refrigerator for at least 12 hours. Would keep for weeks, but won't last that long!
