Spoon Bread From Syd's Kitchen
1 pt boiling water
1 c stone ground corn meal
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp butter
4 eggs
1 c milk

1 Add salt to 1 pt boiling water. Stir in corn meal.
2 Stir one minute, remove from fire.
3 Add butter and beat well.
4 Add 4 beaten eggs and beat in cold milk.
5 Beat again; pour into hot buttered baking dish.
Bake at 450° for 25 mins. and serve. Prep Time: approx. 20 Minutes. Recipe makes 1 - 9x9 dish ( 4 -6 servings). Enjoy!
